Mira Grant is a zombie fan’s author.  She approached her 3.5 book zombie series with a clear interest in the scientific details that drove her to find and correct one of the biggest plot holes in the Walking Dead: “How can we all have the zombie virus in us, but not all immediately become zombies?  Why are there any humans alive at all?”

The series covers a brother-sister pair who live in a world in which we’ve become accustomed to zombies, in fact, we’ve adapted to sharing the planet with them.
