There’s a lot of chatter amongst the digerati about Spock, the beta people search engine that aggregates things online and tries to tag and describe people without human intervention. Note that I said "beta". This thing is clearly not fully baked yet. As computers often do, it has made plenty of mistakes in it’s descriptions, including labeling a colleague of mine a pedophile, merely because he wrote an article about the Mark Foley scandal.
Wired News has some notes about the foibles of Spock here, and you’ll probably see a lot more in the coming days from people unhappy with their profile.
As for me? Well I’m not even in there….my dad is though.
